Despite the fact that competitors have already pulled cruel glue traps from their shelves, Rite Aid (one of the nation's leading drugstore chains) continues to sell the death devices. Glue traps are indiscriminate, capturing not only rats and mice, but also birds, squirrels, snakes, gerbils, and other small animals, even kittens!

Animals who become stuck to these boards often suffer for days before finally succumbing to starvation or deyhydration. As the animals struggle to escape, the strong adhesive rips patches of skin, fur, or feathers of their bodies. Many animals chew off their own limbs in an effort to free themselves.

Please ask Rite Aid to stop selling glue traps and tell the CEO that you won't shop there until all glue traps are removed from the shelves:

Why kill seals?

----------------- Bulletin Message -----------------
From: peta2.com
Date: Mar 14, 2006 9:30 AM

This Wednesday, March 15, caring and concerned citizens everywhere will be voicing their strong opposition to the slaughter of more than 300,000 baby harp and hood seals in Canada. As part of this international day of protest against the seal hunt, PETA and other animal rights groups will be holding demonstrations all over the world. We'll need people at each of the demos to hold posters and hand out leafets, so if you can spare an hour or two to come out and help, we'll love you forever. The seals desperately need your help.
