Despite the fact that competitors have already pulled cruel glue traps from their shelves, Rite Aid (one of the nation's leading drugstore chains) continues to sell the death devices. Glue traps are indiscriminate, capturing not only rats and mice, but also birds, squirrels, snakes, gerbils, and other small animals, even kittens!
Animals who become stuck to these boards often suffer for days before finally succumbing to starvation or deyhydration. As the animals struggle to escape, the strong adhesive rips patches of skin, fur, or feathers of their bodies. Many animals chew off their own limbs in an effort to free themselves.
Please ask Rite Aid to stop selling glue traps and tell the CEO that you won't shop there until all glue traps are removed from the shelves:
